Prof. Dr. med. Dr. med habil. THORSTEN Oliver GÖTZE

Prof. Götze graduated as MD in 2004 at the Johannes-Gutenberg University Mainz and the Goethe University Frankfurt and is a qualified specialist in general, visceral and special visceral surgery and is also qualified for emergency medicine and proctology. Prof. Götze expanded his surgery expertise working as senior physician at the Ketteler Hospital Offenbach and the Dr-Horst-Schmidt Clinics in Wiesbaden. Since 2015, he has been deputy Medical Director at the Institut für Klinisch-Onkologische Forschung of  Northwest Hospital in Frankfurt and developed to a national recognized expert in medical oncology and especially in precision medicine. He is part of the steering committee of several biliary tract and gallbladder cancer guidelines. In 2017 he was appointed managing director of the University Cancer Center (UCT) Frankfurt division Northwest Hospital. Prof. Götze is currently Medical Director at the Institute of Clinical Cancer Research IKF.
