Head of Clinical Trial Unit & Company Officer with Statutory Authority
Dr. Müller holds a degree in biology. In 2010, he received his PhD for his research on the role of miRNAs in the formation and progression of malignant melanoma, performed at the Department of Molecular Pathology of the University Hospital Regensburg. After successfully continuing his research as postdoctoral fellow, he worked as Deputy Head Customers Support and Application Development at an in-vitro diagnostics Start-Up in Frankfurt until 2013 and afterwards as Project Manager, mainly for non-interventional studies, at a medium-sized CRO. In 2015, he joined the Institute of Clinical Cancer Research IKF as a lead study manager. In this role, he also became member of the project development team. Dr. Müller was appointed as Head of Clinical Trial Unit at IKF in 2020 and as company officer with statutory authority in 2021. A particular focus of his work is to support medical researchers and scientists in developing coherent, convincing and feasible study concepts from their initial ideas, to submit corresponding applications to founding bodies and to accompany them in the early stages of their projects.
